NOTES
Spring Chinook are starting to trickle in!
Columbia River Bridge
Currently our fish counts at the Bonneville dam are one to two fish per day, as the water warms up in the next couple of weeks we will start to see the numbers of Chinook Salmon increase with it!
From 0 to 100 overnight after we have one warm day! As water temps increase that will be the signal to the remaining salmon that are below the damn to start migrating!
The month of May is when we expect to see these fish at the WIND RIVER & DRANO LAKE!
Typically May 1st through the end of May is excellent fishing in these areas!
Currently we are full for the first half of May but we have close to 10 dates left for the latter!
This fishery is one you don't wanna miss these fish bite well and they fight hard! Columbia River Gorge Spring Chinook are arguably the best eating grade of salmon on earth! They are the most highly sought after Salmon in the PNW!
Truly an awesome fishery from kids to a seniors!
