Summer has landed, and the salmon bite at Lake Bonneville is heating up fast! With school almost out, families are lining up for some serious salmon catching—and the action has been nonstop.

Guides report an action-packed start to the season with Sockeye making their presence known. Limits are being hit, rods are staying bent, and the vibe on the lake is all energy and excitement.

<div>Currently our fish counts at the Bonneville dam are one to two fish per day, &nbsp;as the water warms up in the next couple of weeks&nbsp;<span style="font-size: 1em;">we will start to see the numbers of Chinook Salmon increase with it!</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1em;">&nbsp;From 0 to 100 overnight after we have one warm day! As water temps increase that will be the signal to the remaining salmon that are below the damn&nbsp;</span><span style="font-size: 1em;">to start migrating!</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1em;">The month of May is when we expect to see these fish at the WIND RIVER &amp; DRANO LAKE!</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1em;">Typically May 1st through the end of May is excellent fishing in these areas!</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1em;">Currently we are full for the first half of May but we have close to 10 dates left for the latter!</span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1em;"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-size: 1em;">This fishery is one you don't wanna miss these fish bite well and they fight hard! Spring Chinook are starting to trickle in!

<div>The Chinook salmon have entered the Columbia river and are starting to make their way up the Columbia to our favorite Fishing locations! Early reports and creel samples show a good amount of chinook salmon entering the Columbia river! We typically start fishing them mid April continue to fish for spring salmon, all the way through the end of June! this is a trolling fishery! We use 360 flashers and spinners, etc. This is a great time to go fishing for all people of all experience levels from the beginner to the professional. We've got you covered!&nbsp;</div><div>We have a covered boat and we also have heaters on board! Have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out!&nbsp;</div>
